Salutations!
My name is Rachelle and I am the owner/trainer for Leben K9. I am delighted you have found my website! I've had a passion for animals since childhood and been working with dogs professionally since 2012. I have a German Shepherd named Xerxes, who has only increased my thirst for training knowledge. I love to teach and I tend to fill my spare time with cooking, painting, or hiking new places! I look forward to getting to know you!

My Story
I started working with dogs in 2012 with a local police department (I volunteered to be in the bite suit!) Ever since then I have worked with varying fields to learn as much as I can about canine behavior. Field training, Behavior modification, Basic training, AKC certifications, you name it, I've learned it. I have multiple training certificates from Basic to Advanced levels of training, an AKC certification as an evaluator and experience with various rescues throughout the United States as a behaviorist, while earning a Psychology degree all so I could better understand our dogs, why they do what they do, and how we can better communicate and train them.
Here at Leben K9, we utilize the philosophy that a trainer's knowledge directly correlates to the amount of force used. The less force, the greater the knowledge. The more force, the less knowledge they possess. You DON'T need to use harsh physical correction to force your dog into good behavior. We need to form a relationship of trust and respect. When this happens, they will happily follow our lead, no matter the distractions! I use my background with military/police techniques along with positive reinforcement and psychology background to create a specialized training plan for you and your furry family member. This way we can accomplish your goals so they last a lifetime, not just until training ends.
So let us know how we can help you! Sign up for your next training session today!
